Poetry, like math, is generally regarded as an esoteric subject in
school. Most people say that they do not understand or appreciate
poetry. Full-Contact Poetry is an attempt to give people an entry
into the world of poetry by constructing their own interpretations of
it. One can write a poem, or take an already written poem, and
create an interpretation through image, animation and sound.
Instead of being taught line-by-line analysis and abstract ideas
such as meter and metaphor, one immediately engages with these
ideas by building a representation around the poem. The
full-contact aspect emerges because the poem is moved from the
page into a new, more embodied space with which one can
interact. Whether onscreen or projected into another space, poetry
can take on a new life.
很有趣，不知文學界能否 評估/接受/運用 互動媒介在詩的教學上？
