兩則不同 blog 上的 entries〈「快閃」與社會運動、快閃式網路學運〉 讓我想到這一則新聞：Cellphone network chokes on SMS joke(the Star, 南非):

Thousands of VinaFone’s 1,5-million subscribers received a message telling them it was the nine-year anniversary of the company and if they forwarded it to nine other subscribers, they would receive 90 Vietnamese dong (about R40)….The network became paralysed by the volume of messages being sent and received as subscribers tried to cash in on the fake offer.

這麼多 text-messaging 可是要花上不少錢的，但如果這是業者(carriers)所 manipulate 的 chain-letter on sms 呢？
