下雨天騎車

美麗早晨的第一篇網誌。
過去幾天東北季風增強，加上水氣豐富，北部下了不少雨。想到每次在雨季搭乘公車時，看著人們騎著小速克達在車陣中鑽來鑽去，總會讓我心驚膽跳。奇怪，不知道是騎車的人太猛，還是時間真有這麼趕，乘著雨水降臨人間的衰神，總有機會找到下一個路上的犧牲者。
在雨季騎車時，到底有什麼方法是不花錢，但是又可以永保安康的？

我好奇的是，相對應於大規模硬體建設的「數位內容」、「使用習慣」和「網路環境」，能不能跟的上2005年後全市無線網路環境佈局的落成？
當然，你也可以在上面看到不少英語文使用者，對於這個計畫表示了相當程度的好奇。有一堆躍躍欲試的衝動，也有好些質疑態度的看法。
奇特的論述《過度本土化不利放洋留學》

Pektiong在#holopedia的IRC頻道提到一篇有趣的論述《過度本土化不利放洋留學》，來自台大國發所的學生：
這數年來推行「本土化」，年輕人的很多思維受到了「本土化」引導，但是有誰可曾想過？「本土化」往往與「國際化」是對立的概念，愈是強調自己的那套，就愈不容易接受外來的東西，久而久之，將失去向外的動力，使得台灣這個本就封閉的海島，走向更加封閉的境地。
頗為奇特的看法。我個人相當懷疑，在不認識「自己」的情況下，那麼所謂奠定追求「國際化」的基礎是在哪裡？我的看法是，有多少本土化(localization)的努力，才會有相對應國際化的視野。越是想往外走，我就越需要了解自己。否則國際化追到頭來，也只是狹隘的斷頭格局。
「大」一點總是比較保險

我覺得「Blogosphere」如果翻譯成「部落圈」、「網誌圈」，或是「網誌生態圈」，會比「部落格群體」來得貼切。

抱歉，我在台灣的傳統媒體上，找不到願意持續追蹤網誌發展的素材(除了破報之外)，只好找了這一篇新華網的文章來應景。另外，我在去年五月也第一次認真思考Blogosphere和集體記憶的問題：
Blog 的 interlinking 機制頗強，但是當 target node(s) 消失時，這種因為鏈結機制的相對關係而生起、孕育、演進、強化的 collective memory 會不會跟著消褪？或是我們可針對 node(s) 和周圍 previously interacting 的 trace 來間接勾勒/描繪/拼湊出失落(散佚)的集體記憶？若 blog 的鏈結機制發展到一定階段後，我們是不是會更容易偏向使用相對來定義相對？這種相對定義的價值要等多久之後，一般大眾才能普遍接受？
現在我還是不知道要怎麼回答這個問題。

猛然想到，Flickr已經具備了差不多所有單純Blog所需要的功能。如果我申請一個Flickr帳號，升級為Pro後，將它當成網誌托管服務商來寄居。那麼這可能衍生什麼樣的… 溝通模式(or community informatics)？
