鐵志：
這個部落格的興起，以及網路—包括MoveOn網站—–開始成為政治中一股重要力量，是始自2003年民主黨總統初選候選人狄恩競選時。相對於其他候選人的曖昧態度，狄恩採取了直接批評布希，和反對伊拉克的鮮明立場，因而使他獲得許多民主黨草根群眾的支持。
狄恩的campaign頭頭之一是Joe Trippi。

不過Joe Trippi在書中說到，嚐試說服Howard Dean擁抱網路的過程，也面臨不少來自傳統「正規競選軍」的質疑。網路？有沒有搞錯？那從來就不是正規競選活動應該重視的一塊。事實上，你我都很清楚，無論是藍教頭或是iParty，總統大選一結束，整個網站也告終。這是非常可惜，也是很沒有永續經營和回收資源(i mean “momentum”)概念的網路競選策略。

* 開始紀錄體重滿一週 ─ 這是好事。我看起來只有六十幾，但其實有八十
* 夢到自己的小孩滿五個月和滿五歲的樣子 ─ 我不知道這算好還是算壞

抓marketing這一塊來講。算算從去年第三季開始，在所有大篇幅帶到web 2.0的專書之中，這似乎是第五還是第六本。
環法自行車賽和巴黎達卡拉力賽，兩者在個別的領域，都被視為獲獎即是最高榮譽之競技項目。雖然背後的主辦單位同是Amaury Sport Organisation，而達卡拉力賽在後勤和動員的規模上，也是完全超越環法自行車賽。但後者在國內的知名度是遠遠的不及前者。這要命的因素，遂成了我在尋求贊助的過程中，最難跨越的障礙之一。

即日起本日誌之託管服務商，開始測試由原Liquidweb.com搬移至Pair.com。Pair在hosting business這領域作了十年有餘，雖然在米國東岸，離台北遠的很，但一版一眼的policies和service contract還蠻可以信任的。
話說，本日誌之搬移辛酸史如下：

觀察一陣子。
在蕃薯藤混了近兩年，做的多是檯面下的事情，沒有什麼可以拿出來說嘴的，今天總算有半個服務可以拿出來講，就是Yam MyMap – 我的地圖。（半個，是因為這還是beta版，而且是有Vista協力製作）
別懷疑，「Where 2.0會議」已經舉辦過兩屆了。
延伸：
我跟出版社和譯者都沒啥關係，但這本書的原文版還不錯，商周也算有勇氣敢出譯作。台灣出版市場上目前沒有類似的書籍，如果硬要舉出兩本，那麼太雅那本生不逢時的《摩托車遊歐洲》算是唯一；《到不了的地方，就用食物吧！：台客與導演寶島摩托車之旅》則是其二。但後者的視界對於國人而言，除了「重車」的元素可能比較新鮮之外，整本書大概無法讓你讀完後下顎掛掛，拍案讚奇，甚至開始有不切實際的想望。那正如（Jupiters Travels: Four Years Around the World on a Triumph）一書中所說到：
Reader be aware: Because of this book men and women have been known to leave jobs and take to the road. In fifteen years it has changed many lives. It could change yours.
伊旺麥奎格本身就是名人，因此由他和Charley Boorman來述說摩托車旅遊的故事，會容易咀嚼的多。這輩子大車連坐都沒坐過朋友們，也可以透過這一本書瞭解跨國摩托車旅遊的情境。
買一本吧，你不會後悔的：
