達卡拉力賽參賽費用

這是比較完整的報價。以台灣的狀況來估,所需費用還會往上修正。若要降低支出,可走在法國租賃拉力廠車和專門技師一名這條線,比賽結束後車還人回,一人一車估計約新台幣八十萬(各四十萬)。不然就是要走 Challenge Yamaha Dakar 這條線,三種 packages自選,約兩萬到四萬歐元不等。或是再找一些在北非專門提供拉力競技車輛和後援服務的掮客,林林總總和賽事直接相關的費用加起來,大約是新台幣一百五十萬。但前估價完全不含在地或移地訓練、各類行政,還有在取得達卡參賽資格前參加等級較低之各大小拉力賽的支出。

花個日幣八百八十四萬送一個人去創造歷史(不只是對台灣),其實是相當的廉價。以曝光度和規模來看,相信我,沒有一個比賽對於台灣出去的選手而言,比巴黎達卡拉力賽更為划算、夠實際、有「績效」、高激奮、對業餘選手友善(摩托車組80%的參賽選手為業餘),在運動界之地位崇高,並且在短時間內還不會卡到無解之ㄓㄥˋㄓˋ問題。

    I think you can do it for less than $70K if you skimp.
    $12,000 Entry Fee (per person).
    $4,500 Vehicle Tariff (per vehicle).
    $11 per pound (minimum) for assistance truck to carry your spare parts. You can buy factory KTM parts support for ??? fee. Many do KTM parts support rather than paying per pound with your own spares.
    $10,250 + $7,500 if you want a full-time mechanic. That’s his entry fee plus fee for a seat in a truck. You can probably get a part-time mechanic for much less. Or go without.
    $1,000 – $5,000 to ship bike over and back.
    $1,000 Airplane ticket from USA.
    $??? Hotels, vaccinations, visas, …
    $2,000+ Race-time misc: highway toll booths, gas stops, bribes, food, etc.
    $??? Bike + upgrades.
    $1,000 Instruments (roadbook holder, ICO computers).
    $??? Spares (tires, bib-mousses, chain, etc.)
    $??? Pre-race: travel, wear&tear, etc. (more than you expect)
    $??? Lost wages for time off work. Way more time off work before race than you think.
