The Training Journey for Adult Men and Women in the World Masters Games

The training conditions for adults are not as favorable as those for younger people, and their psychological and physiological needs are also quite different. However, compared to previous generations, today’s 35+ friends have more choices and resources, though they also face more confusion in selecting training systems.

The 2025 World Masters Games in Taiwan provides many people with the opportunity to “rekindle old dreams." Whether as participating athletes or spectators, how can they make the most of the one-year preparation period to explore their personal sports journey?

This discussion session, rich in “real-life" experience, is themed as a “support group" for World Masters Games training, focusing on the sharing of knowledge and experiences. The speaker is T.H., from the M45 men’s age group, who has extensive experience in track and field and open water swimming. He is also an investor in a gym in Xindian. He will host this event and share his journey of amateur training exploration, which began when he was moved to tears as a kid watching the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
