自從 google 確定要把 blogger.com 買下之後, Userland “似乎"也開始有些動作。Dave Winer(Userland 大老)暗示說：

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the other popular blogging tools had similar deals cooking. Not much more to say at this time. Except…"
