MONSTER

The original “naked" motorcycle, the Ducati Monster created an overnight sensation when it was launched over a decade ago. Today, it defines the class more than ever. An essential street fighter — with its fully exposed engine and bodywork — the Monster delivers style and real sport bike performance. Individual and self-assured, it always makes a statement.

New features for 2004 include: the Monster S4R with double stacked race exhausts, the Monster 1000 with its Dual Spark engine, the Monster 620 with the new Power Torque Clutch (PTC) system and new mirrors for improved visibility for the entire family, Brembo “Serie Oro" brake calipers and disks on the Monster 800, and anti-theft immobilizer activated by key transponder.

SUPERBIKE

The Ducati 749 Testastretta and 999 Testastretta are among the most advanced, highest performance, twin-cylinder motorcycles ever produced at our Bologna, Italy factory. They epitomize the racing history of Ducati and represent the evolution of a formula that has dominated Superbike racing for over a decade. In just its first year of competition, the stunning Ducati 999 has claimed victory in the World Superbike Manufacturer’s and Rider’s Championships. The 2004 Superbike lineup has been revamped for 2004 with: fully adjustable suspension front and rear, factory racebike replica swingarms for the 999R and 749R, the beautiful and accessible 749 Dark, the 749S with a new 110HP Testastretta engine, Ohlins front forks, rear shocks, and steering dampers on the 999S and 999R, and accelerated availability for the 999R at your local Dealer.

SUPERSPORT

After more than three decades of design development, the Ducati Supersport is considered a modern motorcycling icon with a reputation for great handling, lightweight, smooth power delivery and versatility. With its 2004 range, the Ducati Supersport family carries the heritage proudly into the future while adhering to and improving the time-tested formula of the original. New features for 2004 include: an Ohlins rear shock and Brembo front and rear brakes on the 1000DS and Marzocchi upside down forks, 6 speed gearbox and Sachs rear shock on the Supersport 800.

SPORT TOURING

The classic European Gran Turismo tradition is the inspiration for the Ducati Sport Touring family. Beautifully designed with potent power plants, Ducati Sport Touring motorcycles bring performance and superior handling to the touring experience. The ST family has been significantly upgraded for 2004: the entire line-up has received an improved seat for rider comfort and reduced passenger “slippage", a redesigned front fairing and new more powerful light adjustable from the new instrument panel, while an all-new three-valve engine has been developed for the exciting new ST3, and our ST4S ABS has been updated with the ABS electronic braking system, exclusive Ohlins rear shock and CAN line electronics.

SPECIAL EDITION MOTORCYLES: Ducati Monster 620 Matrix, Superbike 998 Matrix and Superbike 998 Final Edition.

Following the use of Ducati Superbikes in the stunning 15-minute freeway chase sequence in Warner Brother’s blockbuster, Matrix ReloadedTM, Ducati is teaming up with Warner Bros to produce a limited edition Superbike 998 and Monster 620 inspired by the film. The motorcycles, with their spectacular Matrix livery, special paint and graphics, instantly create the most desirable urban street fighter and Superbike around.

2004 will mark the ten-year anniversary of the most iconic and victorious motorcycle ever made. As a final tribute to this remarkable creation, Ducati presents the limited edition 998S Final Edition. Features include: a silver plate, an Ohlins rear shock and front fork and a tricolor Italian-flag tailpiece.
