– Film was born when everobody were in big euphoria from possible independence. Every camera was shooting “Baltic way”. We also wanted to capture first breaths of freedom. Anyway film has a bit of sadness. I don’t know how did it appeared, maybe because a lot of these people didn’t attained the moment of true independance, maybe we realized that these brotherhood moments has the end. After 10 years we realized that going to freedom is very complicated process, not only political but also spiritual, that you can’t give it or take it away. You have to bring it up in your heart.
