‘Mo-blogging’ and ‘photoblogging’

Even a rank beginner can become an on-the-scene correspondent, by “mo-blogging" (using mobile phone or Blackberry) and “photoblogging" (creating a visual journal). You might be at a cyber café in Australia, a protest march in New York City or a three-day Phish concert, and you can post an immediate, real-time update to family and friends.

主流媒體的報導，新媒體開始蠢動的揭示。我已經先在 moblog.typepad.com 上傳了不少 moblogging photos，但若是要作為集團式的 moblog，頻寬絕對不夠。但是簡單的出版流程，應該能吸引不少人直接跳過 blog 的書寫。

  1. 中文問題方面，我在 nokia 的 forum 裡看到…

Actually the localization work for S40 and S60 are same, but please note that currently the S60 phones don’t support to download java applicstion via OTA if the java application including Chinese characters.

    我完全對這方面沒辦法，也沒有概念。

  5. 那麼試試看 mfop2 呢？我使用 mfop2(www.bastish.net) 更新 moblog.schee.info 的部分。中文訊息部分，blog entry 的 title 不支援，但是內容卻是沒有問題的，也搞不懂為什麼。可是 mfop2 目前還沒有縮圖的功能(in process)，所以我一貼到自己的 moblog.schee.info 上必須手工去改大小。這一點有些麻煩。

    kablog(http://www.rawthought.com/projects/kablog/) 是另一個可能性，沒有中文支援也是問題，可以完全不需要經過任何的 services。只要有支援 java midp(1.0 version or up) 端的 mobile devices，那麼所有的 moblog 動作都在手機端完成。azure(http://web.vee.net/projects/azure/) 還沒好好試試看，不過也可以期待。

    J88 的 moblog 貼圖大概長的是這個樣子。

    中文訊息部分，我是因為選對手機(nokia 7650/3650/6600, symbian series 60支援 utf-8) 吧。我也不知道有什麼其他的 solutions。:D
    找個時間改天聚一聚交換一下心得？

  6. PHS只有email夾檔可送照片。textamerica, typepad我都嘗試過了，送不上去，也無錯誤訊息。

    但照理說只要支援email送圖應該跟PHS的送法是一樣的。typepad的setting我已經忘記了，而且我的帳號也取消掉了。

    另外您有找到可傳送中文訊息的解決方案嗎？我找了半天都沒有說～～

  7. winson，可否再將寄送過程清楚告知？你是用 mms 送還是 email 夾檔送？phs 的系統好像跟其他業者的 mms 不相通？我試過的 phs 中只有 http://www.demotelco.com/(使用 newbay.com 的 foneblog 系統)成功，至於 textamerica, typepad, 20six.co.uk 都沒有試過。還有 typepad 的 mobile setting 上有三個選項，第三個是 pgp，不予考慮；我是使用第一個 setting。

    我用 nokia 3650，三十萬畫素解析，640×480 大小。PHS 可能要等到 J100 才會比較實用。

  8. 您是用哪一款手機拍的？相片好大喔。

    我之前也有嘗試用PHS拍好送到我的Typepad站上，可是很奇怪既沒送上去，也沒回應錯誤。不知道為什麼？
