Google 猛下重手，丟出和瀏覽器(Firefox, IE)整合的桌面搜尋工具 Google Desktop。今日開始提供下載。

  1. 速度快功能簡單, 感覺比index service好用, 不過能下的搜尋字串方式有限, 譬如需要針對特定的目錄夾做搜尋等….似乎無解. 還有index的檔案太大, 硬碟有點不太高興.

  2. 恩，目前無法讀到 firefox 的 cache…
    有人提出了解決方案（就是，把Firefox讀過的網頁用程式自動存起來），不過我覺得實在不夠完美… @_@…
