TT organisers have held a series of meetings about the future of the event.

David Cretney, chairman of the TT coordinating committee, said discussions were held with motorcycle manufacturers last Monday and members of the industry on Tuesday.

The manufacturers meeting took place at the Suzuki headquarters in Crawley, where top representatives from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Ducati attended.

部落天際,無限延伸(一)

不,部落格當然是來真的,不是玩假的。部落是真的,一格一格也是真的。走透透之言,當然更不是假的。;) 蠻多閱讀部落格的朋友們知道我要騎摩托車(no, 不是速客達)走遍台灣三一九鄉,但從今年七月後,我就再也沒把相關的訊息放上來了,也讓關心的朋友們沒有繼續追蹤的機會。最近 Blog 鄉村引發了一連串有趣的討論,我想,是該說明一下行程的時候了。

首先將行程的概略說明。交通工具的部分,以摩托車為主。摩托車希望能夠向 Honda Taiwan 邀到 XR 250/400 的車款,若本地分公司不允諾,那麼我會去信 Honda Japan。再不成,Ducati Taiwan(碩文),車種為 Monster。但因為 Ducati 為高價車款,市場區隔相當明顯。即使我對義大利的摩托車界情有獨鍾,但台灣的代理,現階段可能會想不出來要把我安插在什麼位置才好。BMW(泛徳)是第三個。國產車廠部分,抱歉,絕對不考慮。詳細關於車的部分,我們可以慢慢的聊。

三一九鄉之行,我希望親自去拜訪台灣各地寫部落格的這些朋友們,無論是已經在不同場合會過面的、在 irc 聊過天的、在之前火車時課表輪過的、在 Ricebowl Journals 登記的、在 geourl 隔壁的、在 twblog.net 上串聯新聞的,還是目前在 meerkat.elixus.org 上的 – 是的,如果不嫌棄的話,我希望能夠和所有有意願和有時間的人見見面,並且呢,如果情況允許,那麼可以互相在自己和對方的部落格上,記下這一些事,利用 comment/trackback/rss/wiki 來串聯我們會面的紀事,延伸短暫美好的回憶(痛苦的部分,我寫就好)。或是我們可以更快的使用影像來書寫,乾脆直接 moblog,也好。

如果途經你的住所,你想要捎個訊息還是信件,給我規劃路線的下一段以後其他不同區域的部落客們,那麼好,我可以幫你帶。比如說一封鼓勵 Elixus/Jedi/TWIMC/蜂報/蚊子部落格/滬尾部落格/…的信,一件給某位部落客的謝禮,都好。不過我要聲明一下,摩托車的積載能力不若四輪房車,信和小東西是我最可能的夾帶的物品。我會想辦法在車子後座兩側裝一組 Givi 或是 Bernd Tesch 手工打造的側箱。但是電鍋或是當地名產之類的東西,我真的是沒有辦法提供服務。:)

似乎要來自我介紹一番,否則到時候如果才發現我是大怪人,那不是相當掃興嗎?如果看我不怎麼順眼,那還是不要見面為好。:)

行程的點和抵達時間還有順序,我還沒有確定,但是我需要一些關鍵的東西,例如網路和家用電力,否則沒有辦法書寫部落格,這是最重要的。食的方面,我吃素,這一部份我會盡量自己解決。跑個黃昏市場買些菜,帶個汽化爐和兩人份的登山用鋁製餐具,可以自己煮好吃的麵。宿的部分,我可以在任何地點就寢(haha),也會帶個春秋季的帳棚上路。這我之前都有經驗,請關心的朋友不用擔心。當然,如果你住地方有院子,也願意讓我拜訪,那麼我的車子會好停許多。否則我必須要做一些適度的盜難防範,以免早上起來車上的行李都不見了。:)

詳細的規劃,我會再慢慢的寫在這裡。明天繼續,今天沒有新聞彙整。我們自己來寫自己的新聞和故事?你覺得怎麼樣呢?

Oops,還有 moblog 的部份。如果明年 moblogging conference 還會繼續舉辦,那麼我會向主辦單位爭取擔任個 moblog 相關議題的 panelist,把三一九鄉照(走)透透和台灣部落界的經驗,push 到 conference 上,和世界其他地區的 mobloggers 交流。

女孩子學開車

P9280099.jpg從 UDN(聯合電子報)上看到了 W6 女生宿舍一站,竟然有 Ford 贊助的女孩子學開車日記。有趣。連載文章中可以觀察到許多人對於道路和駕駛的典型印象,看來又是個書寫的好素材。網站有個小論壇,不然也來去湊個熱鬧。此時不免又想,哪一天才可以讀到女孩子學摩托車的日記?或是,摩托車哪要怎麼學,不是跨坐上去轉轉油門,能走就OK了嗎?

後記:似乎女孩子比較願意付錢學開車,那我還是跳槽來去教開車?

Honda – 「卵」車?

IM001977.jpg以為自己是摩托車的速客達,來自 Honda Italia 的傑作。但在這之前,其實已經有一位難兄難弟 Gilera 的 DNA 總是搞不清楚自己「定位」是什麼。:) foto_mag_1_295_1063878511.jpg偽油箱下是一可以提供相當大儲藏空間的 compartment,而引擎配置和傳動的安排,的則是和一般的 scooter 相同。基本上來說,這是 DNA 的放大版。真正具有 technology breakthrough 態勢的作品,則是 Aprilia Leonardo SR 500。二行程,但已經符合即將在 2006 年強制執行的 Euro 3 排氣法規。缸內直噴的噴射供油技術,讓 Leonardo SR 500 有 38km/L 的驚人油耗表現(remember it’s a 2 cycle)。0 至 400 米加速於 12.5 秒內完成。

海灘勿予

有些奇怪的男人不知是平日在城市裡過於壓抑,無能發洩,還是心中仍存有蹄踏萬疆,足踩四方於跨下衝動,一買了休旅車(SUV),便無時不刻幻想著呼喚親朋車友,組個不怎麼樣的車隊,來凌虐台灣各地的小海灘。

週日(09/21),驅車前往每年必定至少拜訪一次的某處海灘。風中的水氣輕捎沁涼,微甜微酸,湊搭著防風林的草根芬芳。盛夏已過,難得一年來首次於本島外遊,心頭忍躁,也漂淡了許多。濱線離省道不遠,轉進去後沒幾分鐘可以到達。然冒失的對向車主又取線不佳,跨侵本道。惱嘆一聲,想著 motomosa 的志業,輪步又趨近海岸。

三六五個日子不見。氛晚時刻,她仍究是如此令人惋憐的霞麗。淨灘、海沙、雲邈、天茫,灰樸和耀黃的線條交染,暈出合離的塵世。

海灘勿予不懂得海洋滋味的人。

【上海支局】中国の新華社電によると、昨年1年間の中国の二輪車輸出台数は344万台で、日本に次いで世界第2位になった。生産台数は1300万台で、世界全体の約半分を占める。多くは国内市場向けに出荷しているが、国際的な価格競争力が向上していることから、一部のメーカーは輸出に力を入れ始めた。主な出荷先はベトナムを中心とする東南アジアやアフリカ。特に最近ではアフリカ向けが急増している。

太可惜了,許多珍藏在伯明罕 National Motorcycle Museum 的無價之寶竟然毀於大火。

BBC: Fire destroys motorbike collection

Fire has destroyed much of the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham, ruining 650 vintage machines and leaving 60% of the building a blackened shell.

Investigators are at the scene on Wednesday to begin an inquiry into the cause of the fire.

The value of the destroyed bikes is put at £8m, but many of the machines are irreplacable.

歐盟開始測試 GPS 協助之道路救援服務

在 “Pay-as-you-go motoring just around the corner," 歐盟太空總署(ESA)表示如果高速公路的道路救援服務能夠以 GPS 定位計算里程,那麼托吊的費用將會更為合理:

Experiments are currently under way in Ireland, Portugal and Germany, before an extension to other countries. Potential benefits of such a road tolling system would be fairer implementation of charging on a ‘pay for use’ basis. All these experiments are using the US-operated Global Positioning System (GPS). But in 2010, when the system is fully implemented, it will use Galileo, scheduled to be operational by 2008.
