蓋茨首次預言Weblogs商業前景 微軟感到威脅
【賽迪網訊】5月21日消息稱，微軟董事長比爾-蓋茨在公眾面前的演講話題一向都是與微軟的軟件相關。
但在日前召開的“第八屆CEO峰會”上，蓋茨卻向與會者談論起“Weblogs”。蓋茨認為，Weblogs的交流方式可以作為企業的通信工具使用。

Gates also extolled the productivity benefits that can be derived from user-empowering technologies such as blogging, RSS, collaboration software and online communities that are integrated into Web sites.
Gates called blogging and the RSS Web content syndication service a “very interesting phenomenon.” He suggested that by using RSS as notification system, customers can “get the information you want when you want it.”

我自己騎車的時候，常常會遇到必須找有 internet access 的地方，可是看看前一陣自台北市政府所設的無線網路標誌來說好了，我相信，設計 logo 的人一定從來沒有考慮過，當有需要網路的 “motorist” 在大街穿梭時，他們是不是能夠很方便的看到代表某個zone/spot 有著「網路連線」的標誌。光在這一點上，我們就缺乏愛沙尼亞在這一部分的設計思維。

一場惡鬥，勢必難免。Yahoo 要頭大了。不過，我在 lycos.de 上好像還沒看到這一則消息。

國內車牌 全面換發在即？
：不容諱言，國內對車輛牌照的設計始終不夠講究，造型僵化、缺乏變化，前瞻性不足，號碼容量有限，字頭有英文、也有阿拉伯數字，新增號牌末字也英文，相當混亂，主管當局應徹底檢討，重新設計一套可長可久車牌。
還記得幾年前剛改車牌的時候，小客車規定前面兩字為英文、後四字為數字。沒多久之後，發現牌照不夠發，改為前兩字英文字母或是阿拉伯數字；過一陣子後牌照用罄，新增前四字加上後兩字的排列。目前領牌的新小客車，我已經不知道有什麼規則可循了。:(
所以責任的追究該落在誰的頭上？這算是嚴重的問題嗎？怎麼牌照每幾年就要來個大檢討？近日，又耳聞交通部明年起將逐步推動全台1800萬輛汽機車，全面更換反光防偽車牌，並在汽車擋風玻璃加裝第三防偽牌照。天啊，我又不免開始搔頭，在尚未全面換發的時候，車界可以做些什麼事來防止再次的疏失？

百輛重機車 競「飆」快速道
〔自由時報〕政府考慮開放大型重型機車上快速道路，台北縣瑞芳警分局為讓重型車手早日熟悉路況，同時宣導正確的騎乘觀念，昨天商借未通車的萬瑞快速道路部分路段，供車手試乘，一百多輛重機車昨天呼嘯在萬瑞快速道路上，場面相當壯觀，車手們也感謝警方的用心。

這種形式的競賽會讓使用者對於環境的感知更為 sensitive？我以前從來沒有想過這一個問題，不過自己只要一機在手，倒是會莫名其妙的在環境中尋找意義的關聯。上個禮拜有一位美艷同事，本來對於拍貼沒什麼好感，但是拿到了P800後，反而拍的比我兇。:P
